Romeo’s Retail Group operates multiple stores in NSW and South Australia. Recently renovated, the Romeo’s IGA Summer Hill, spanning 2000sqm, now embraces a contemporary “fresh food market” concept while staying true to local shopper preferences. The redesign includes a European-inspired food hall featuring a cheese room, butcher and dry aging room, delicatessen, bakery, fishmonger, and a fresh produce marketplace.
The store layout has been meticulously planned to enhance customer experience, with newly installed displays effectively showcasing fresh produce and grab-and-go items. An Italian-inspired apeliono at the store entrance serves both as a visual merchandising centerpiece and a unique European market ambiance enhancer.
The ceiling is predominantly composed of supawood and supaslat panels, arranged in various geometric patterns, further enhancing the store’s modern aesthetic.
Gone are the harsh fluorescent lights, replaced instead by dramatic and atmospheric lighting solutions throughout the supermarket.
