Nineteen — The Vintage, Hunter Valley NSW
Nineteen is a casual bar and bistro at The Vintage, the golf resort in the Hunter Valley. loopcreative was engaged by Stevens Group to design a relaxed all-day room for players and resort guests — somewhere that works from a coffee after the front nine through to drinks and dinner as the light drops over the course.The design is anchored by a long timber-battened ceiling that draws the eye down the length of the room and gives the large volume warmth and rhythm. Below it, an open bar in dark timber and stone runs as the social spine, with a loose mix of communal high tables, low lounge seating and clipped greenery breaking the floor into smaller, easier settings. A checkerboard floor grounds the palette and nods to the clubhouse tradition without tipping into pastiche.

The room opens to a covered alfresco terrace beneath the building’s gabled roofline, extending the bistro into the landscape and giving Nineteen a genuine indoor-outdoor ease suited to the Hunter climate.
