Sydney Tower’s second level venue, Sky Feast, is an inviting casual eatery in view of the horizon – the country’s most elevated buffet experience.

Placing a distinctly Australian vernacular at its core, its relaxed and engaging interior finds opportunities to delight Sydneysiders as well as international visitors. This cultural immersion by design, heightening the built language of the burbs, begins via an arrival area clad in pebblecrete by Alternative Surfaces, the nostalgic texture of Aussie backyard pools.

Further into the dining space, the open airiness of the venue’s vertiginous position is emphasised through a crisp white environment, complemented by a tonal palette of earthy ochres and tactile finishes.

Custom terracotta breezeblocks define the curved internal wall, an evolved play on the textures of local suburbia by ThreeByThree. These are a particularly treasured feature of the space, bringing a hand-finished, human quality; a moment of perhaps unexpected warmth, in such a high key setting. Tan leather banquettes and generous timber features, including solid oak Fable chairs and bespoke tables by Australian industrial design house Didier, offer a variety of considered seating options steeped with laconic local character.

Crafted to entertain solo guests and couples, as well as families and social gatherings, this floor rotates slightly faster than the Infinity below, setting a more energetic pace. A fun spot for locals to rediscover and tourists to explore, SkyFeast provides a stylish social setting: where breakfasts might easily sprawl into lunch with good conversation.
